My name is Shawnt'e Butler, Secretary of Bethlehem Holy Healing Temple located downtown Lafayette, 408 North St. where the pastor is Brandall and Lady Maryland Jones. We are hosting a Back to School event on August 8, 2015 12pm-5pm and would like it put on the radio and maybe someone can come out. NAMI Fall Classic 5K Walk/Run for Mental Illness

Date: Sunday, October 11, 2015 Times: Check-in & race-day registration 12:00-1:15pm 5K walk/run (chip-timed) starts at 1:30pm Awards presented at 3:00pm Location: Former Lafayette Municipal Golf Course 800 Golfview Road, Lafayette, Indiana Fee: $20 per person pre-registered $25 per person on race day Ages 10 & under FREE Teams: Teams are welcome! Register as an individual, but indicate your team name in the space provided on the registration form. Recognition will be given to the team that raises the most funds for NAMI West Central Indiana. Registration: NAMI Fall Classic 2015 Registration Form Online registration will be available soon. Ninety percent of proceeds from the 2015 event will benefit NAMI West Central Indiana, which advocates for support, effective treatment and education for individuals and families affected by mental illness in our community. Ten percent of proceeds will go to NAMI on Campus Purdue for its startup efforts.

Health and Safety Fair in Watseka

Join us on August 8th at the Watseka Chrysler Dodge Jeep auto dealership for free FBI quality digital fingerprint and photographs from one of the top child safety programs in the country! The Keeping Kids Safe Project will take a child’s fingerprints and send them home with parents. Parents can use the record to turn directly over to authorities anywhere in the world to instantly aid in an investigation. There will also be community organizations present to provide safety information for families. The child safety fair will take place on Saturday August 8th from 10AM to 2PM.
