Where can you go to see the mechanics of an aerial fire truck, sit in the cab of a truck, see the inside of a limo and explore the SWAT truck? All these adventures can be explored at Hands-On Trucks, Imagination Station’s 14th annual fundraising event. Hands-On Trucks allows kids to see, feel, and touch a variety of trucks, helping them to better understand the world around them. Operators of the trucks will be available to talk with visitors about how their vehicle works, what the vehicles are used for, and what tasks the operators do in their jobs. When attending Hands-On Trucks, be sure to enjoy hot dogs, and a refreshing Coca-Cola, tour Imagination Station’s permanent exhibits, and visit the on-site gift shop for scientific treasures. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Imagination Station for $4.00 or at the gate for $5.00. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge. Register as an individual, but indicate your team name in the space provided on the registration form. Recognition will be given to the team that raises the most funds for NAMI West Central Indiana. Registration: NAMI Fall Classic 2015 Registration Form Online registration will be available soon. Ninety percent of proceeds from the 2015 event will benefit NAMI West Central Indiana, which advocates for support, effective treatment and education for individuals and families affected by mental illness in our community. Ten percent of proceeds will go to NAMI on Campus Purdue for its startup efforts.

Come check out Shamrock Dog Park for free on Saturday August 29th from 10:00AM-1:00PM. All are welcome to attend and bring your dog(s). * Must provide paper proof of rabies for each dog you are planning on bringing. * Dogs must be at least 4 months of age. * Children under the age of 12 are not permitted inside the fenced in dog park, but there is a playground located just outside the dog park. Memberships purchased or renewed at the event will get 13 months for the price of 12 ($60).
